Since Taipei Dome opened, the Xinyi District has become the new hub for baseball fans in Taipei. But when the night game ends around 9 or 10 PM, you might be wondering — where do I eat near Taipei Dome? We've mapped out the best options by walking distance, so you can go straight from the stadium to great food.

Getting to Taipei Dome

Taipei Dome is located on Zhongxiao East Road Section 4, Xinyi District. The closest MRT station is Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station (Blue Line), Exit 5 — about a 5-minute walk. From Taipei Main Station, take the Blue Line directly, roughly 15 minutes.

After the game, the three main directions for food are: west into the Xinyi shopping area, south toward Tonghua Night Market, or along Zhongxiao East Road for quick bites. We cover all three below.

📍 Within 5 Minutes: Xinyi Shopping District

CLOSEST3–5 min walk

Right next to Taipei Dome is the Xinyi Shopping District — Vie Show Cinemas, ATT 4 FUN, and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi are all within walking distance. If you don't want to go far after the game, the food courts and restaurants here are the most convenient option.

ATT 4 FUN's dining floors stay open until late, with yakiniku BBQ, izakayas, and various Asian cuisine options. The basement food hall at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A9 is also great for affordable, diverse choices. On game days, most restaurants in the area stay open until 11 PM.

📍 15 Minutes Away: Tonghua Night Market

RECOMMENDED~15 min walk / 5 min by YouBike

Our top recommendation for post-game late-night eats — Tonghua Night Market (Linjiang Street Night Market). About a 15-minute walk from Taipei Dome, or just 5 minutes by YouBike (Taiwan's bike-sharing system), this is the most authentic Taiwan night market near Xinyi.

Tonghua Night Market is open every night until late, so even after a game that ends at 10 PM, you'll make it in time. It has everything: oyster vermicelli noodles (蚵仔麵線), braised pork rice (滷肉飯), grilled corn, fresh fruit stalls, and dozens of classic Taiwanese street foods. Coming here after a baseball game is a classic Xinyi fan ritual.

"The best part after a game is walking into the night market before you've fully calmed down — carrying the energy of the match while you eat. Tonghua is that place."

📍 Quick Grab: Zhongxiao East Road

CONVENIENT5–10 min walk

Head west along Zhongxiao East Road Section 4 and you'll find chain restaurants and independent eateries all the way. Hot pot, Korean BBQ, Japanese set meals — all easy to find if you just want to eat quickly before heading back to your hotel.

The Renai Road area has nicer restaurants and bars, great if you're celebrating a win or having a group dinner after the game.

📍 Eat Before the Game: In-Stadium Food

Taipei Dome has food stalls and concession stands inside. Stadium food service typically starts 1.5 hours before first pitch. If you'd rather stay inside, that's completely fine — but on game days the popular stalls get long lines. We recommend arriving 30–40 minutes early to grab food first before finding your seat.

OneDayFans Tip: Taipei Dome's location in Xinyi gives you an incredible range of food options — it's one of the best-located stadiums for post-game dining anywhere. Our recommendation: arrive early, eat outside the stadium before the game; save room for Tonghua Night Market after. That's the full Taipei baseball experience.
